or they could add to it to make it as varied as morrowind once again. dumbing down my games for the mainstream crowd is getting a little irritating.
or at the very least, keep the options and go the bioware route, add two modes, one for those of us who like the game becuase of how complex and varied it used to be and a mode for those of you who want to do nothing but walk around and kill people

if you can cite your sources and actually prove that when a company claiming extra polish is actually compressing, removing, and scaling down content to fit, then i will happily admit im in the wrong. however without a concrete source this is nothing but pure speculation on your end. compression isnt exactly a difficult or very time consuming task if you have ever done any yourself, it would not add any signifanct amount of time to the developement process. and to be honest there are few game...
nah lol this site is so play-station fanboy heavy that i thought it would be funny ( and i was right, 19 disagrees, i def hurt somebody's feelings ). plus the xbox needed some love. reality is though, brightness is the only real difference as usual.
1. yes have claimed every year to "max out" the 360 and yet each triple a game released looks better than the last..

lmao that is a great way to put it. i got down to the bottom after like 2 tries and got to the swamp. i was like "WTF From software" theres no bonfire!!! somehow got through the swamp and fought the bitch only to die and start at the top again.....then after me and my buddy were in there for what seems like forever, he found the bonfire. im not gay dude but if he was next to me when he told me where that was, i would have kissed him.

lmao they need a new console just becuase of the disc format? the same disc format which fits almost every game but a select few, prob less than 20 out of the hundreds of games....and yeah it may not be "as powerful" as the ps3 but for being a year older it holds up very well, esp considering most multi plats look and perform better on 360.

stealth games havent changed their just not as appealing to the call of duty crowd and thats what every dev wants to do these days. im not blaming them, games are a business every bit as much as they are an art form. sometimes though, like any artists, if you want to make the game you want, you have to take a potential profit loss. not go claiming how the "genre" has changed to justify why your game is more mainstream
